On June 2 around 4:15 pm, a person was bitten by a dog while walking across the southeast corner of the Safeway parking lot.

The dog jumped out of the bed of a pickup truck and bit the person on the leg. It then jumped into the truck. The person states that there were two dogs in the back of the truck at the time.

The dog that bit the person is described as a medium-sized, lean, yellow dog wearing a reddish-brown collar. The dog that remained in the bed of the truck is described as medium-sized and is white with a black spot on its back.

The truck is white with black trim and has a 5th wheel tailgate.

Locating the dog is necessary for rabies monitoring purposes.
