‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Si Robertson Releases Six-Song Country EP
'Duck Dynasty's' Uncle Si Robertson has a new talent he's showing off, and it has nothing to do with duck calls or hunting. The 66-year-old released a six-song EP, 'Me and My Smoking Hot Honey' on iTunes Wednesday (May 14), and it features a duet with none other than country singer Kix Brooks.
The duet is called 'Can't Take the Swamp Outta the Man' and Robertson recorded it to surprise his wife, Christine, when they renewed their vows last month, after 43 years of marriage (and counting!).
He picked Brooks because, as he tells Fox News "[Christine] loves Kix Brooks!"
As she walked down the aisle during their vow renewal, Robertson and Brooks sang the song, which focuses on how no amount of money can change their love.
The process of recording and singing was really exciting for the 'Duck Dynasty' personality, and he admits that he enjoyed it -- possibly even more than his current job, saying, "I'm gonna make this my new career choice. I had a blast!" He also sings on a track with the Mauldin Brothers.
Singing isn't a new thing for the family; they released a Christmas album last year, which featured Luke Bryan and George Strait, among other country artists. Fans can find 'Me and My Smoking Hot Honey' on iTunes.
