High Wind Warning For Wyoming Interstate 80 Corridor

The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne has issued the following weather statement:

Jan 29th/215 PM: High Wind Warnings are now in effect late tonight through early Tuesday evening for the Interstate 80 corridor around Elk Mountain/Arlington and the summit area west of Cheyenne. High Wind Warnings are in effect Tuesday morning and afternoon for the Interstate 25 area from near Chugwater (Bordeaux) to west of Douglas, and the Laramie valley. Wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are expected, impacting travel with light and high profile trailers. Winds are expected to increase this evening and remain strong through Tuesday. Be careful if driving in these areas! High winds may also occur during the day Tuesday towards Rawlins.
