UPDATE: Missing Colorado Teen May Be in Cheyenne Area
UPDATE:
A missing Colorado teen may be in the Cheyenne area, the Cheyenne Police Department in a Facebook post late Thursday morning said.
Police say 15-year-old Chantal Smith ran away from her home in Aspen on Sept. 7.
The Laramie Police Department on Wednesday afternoon said Smith was believed to be traveling through the Laramie area with two male subjects, but Sgt. Asa Hutchinson late Thursday afternoon said, "We don't think they're in Laramie or in this location any longer."
Hutchinson says Colorado authorities linked Smith with the man pictured above, but they don't have a name for him.
"We don't believe she's abducted, she's just kind of a runaway at this point," he said.
Anyone with information on Smith's whereabouts is asked to call Cheyenne police dispatch at 307-637-6525.
