Back for More: Little Snake River, Burlington Renew Their Championship Feud in Laramie [VIDEO]
The second championship game to feature two teams squaring off for the fourth year in a row is the first one on Saturday, and it is in the Class 1A-6 Man division. Top-ranked and defending state champion Little Snake River faces No. 3 Burlington in Laramie. The Rattlers topped the Huskies in last year’s title game, 87-50. That followed a Burlington win, 42-39, in 2023, and LSR’s 55-8 victory three years ago. These two schools were conference foes until the 2022 season. They faced each other in Week One of the 2025 regular season, and the Rattlers dominated, 53-8, in Burlington. Saturday will be the fourth postseason game between the two programs.
