Hefty Bond Set for Cheyenne Man Charged With Aggravated Assault
A 48-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly committing aggravated assault.
Fight Leads to Felony Arrest
According to a booking sheet, Ronald Eugene Stringer was arrested at 5:38 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy was called to a fight in the 900 block of Briar Court and obtained probable cause that Stringer had committed aggravated assault and property destruction.

Stringer was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and subsequently charged with aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He was also charged with two misdemeanors, including property destruction and battery.
Initial Court Appearance
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Stringer was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Magistrate Hannah West on the charges.
Bond Set at $25K Cash
At the recommendation of the state, West set Stringer's bond at $25,000 cash.
His next court date will be a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 2:15 p.m.
As you may recall, Stringer was arrested last September after climbing to the top of the Union Pacific Railroad bridge on West Lincolnway and throwing rocks at vehicles, prompting a multi-agency response.
