ORIGINAL STORY:

Reduced visibility has forced the closure of Interstate 80 between Walcott Junction and Laramie.

As of 7:04 a.m., the Wyoming Department of Transportation did not have an estimate as to when the roughly 75-mile stretch would reopen.

Eastbound I-80 between Rawlins and Walcott Junction is also closed due to reduced visibility, while the westbound lanes are only closed to light and high-profile vehicles.
