UPDATE: The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon announced that Joana has been found and is safe.

The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 13-year-old girl.

That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook page.

Joanna Perez Was Last Seen On Oct. 31

According to the post, Joana Perez, a Hispanic Female, was last seen on the night of Oct. 31 when she left her parents home in the Western Hills Trailer Court. The post describes her as follows: "Joana is approximately 5’3”, with a slim build and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, red vest, and pants, and may be carrying a black backpack. Joana also has a nose piercing with a small diamond stud."
