He's also charged with domestic battery - first offense, a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail, up to a $750 fine, or both.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about Monday, Jan. 12.

Initial Court Appearance

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, Willow was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.

Williams appointed Willow a public defender and set his preliminary hearing for Friday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m.

Williams then asked for the state's position regarding bond.

"The nature of the crimes that have been charged and my reading of the probable cause remarks, the lack of provocation, in addition to an apparent lack of ties to the community, the state's going to be recommending $50,000 cash in this matter," the state said.

"You said lack of ties to the community," Williams asked the state.

"The booking sheet lists Mr. Willow as transient," the state replied.

Bond Set at $50K Cash

"The court's going to go ahead and set your bond at $50,000 cash," Williams told Willow. "You can call the public defender's office tomorrow or Friday."

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
