Kane Brown Performs Sentimental ‘Homesick’ on ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ [Watch]
Kane Brown has been making the media rounds, and he stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night (Jan. 14) to perform a sentimental song titled "Homesick."
Brown looked dashing in jeans and a black jacket as he sang the mid-tempo ballad, which talks of the longing he feels when he has to be away from his wife, Katelyn Jae, on tour.
"I'm homesick / This feeling that I'm feeling, no it don't quit / It's like half of me is missing / Heaven knows it / That all I wanna do is be alone with / Your brown eyes, just tangled up and holding / Only you tonight until the morning / Baby, that's the damn truth / If home is where the heart is, I'm homesick for you," Brown sings in the chorus.

The 25-year-old singer also appeared on Good Morning America on Monday as part of a media blitz to promote his Live Forever Tour, which launched on Thursday (Jan. 10) at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, Ga., and runs through March 8 before wrapping up in Cedar Park, Texas. Granger Smith serves as Brown's support act, with RaeLynn, Danielle Bradbery and Jimmie Allen appearing on select dates of the tour.
Brown co-wrote "Homesick" with Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips. The song appears on his second studio album, Experiment, which he released in November of 2018. The album's first single, "Lose It," has already scored Brown a No. 1 hit. His current single from the project is "Good as You," which is also about his wife.
