Laramie HS Student a Finalist in Video Game Creation Competition
A Laramie High School student is a finalist for the STEM Fuse Got Game Competition: People's Choice Award.
Caleb Callihan's game, Slime Knight, was created in his video game design class.
The game description: "In a world overrun by powerful baddies...only one hero can take back the realm! And that hero is... a slime? Slime Knight is an action-packed adventure in which you, the Slime Knight, must travel through a dangerous world and wipe out all of the evil monsters!"
The top 12 games nationwide were selected by judges and can be voted on by the public on the STEM Fuse website. Voters can test out all 12 games before making their vote.
Voting is open until Jan. 29. The competition webpage says the winner will be announced Jan. 31.
As of Thursday, Slime Knight had the fourth most votes.
