Laramie Man Charged With Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance
LARAMIE – A Laramie man was arrested on two charges Wednesday, April 10.
At 6:10 p.m. a Laramie Police Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Evans for a request to check the welfare of a person living at that location.
Lt. Gwen Smith of the Laramie Police Dept. said during the course of the welfare check, an unrelated subject, Tyler Wollam, a 22-year-old Laramie resident, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from another county as well as Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance is punishable by imprisoned for a term, not more than five years, fined not more than $5,000, or both.
Wollam’s bond has not yet been set on the felony charge and he remains in custody at the Albany County Detention Center.
