Watch Wyoming’s Coach Bohl Discuss Saturday Scrimmage in Casper
The Wyoming Cowboys went through their eighth practice of spring drills Thursday for two-and-a-half hours in UW’s Indoor Practice Facility.
The focus was on the running game, and Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl saw some better play from the Cowboys’ offensive line. He saw good and bad in the passing game, which also means some pressure from the defensive line was apparent.
In the video above, Bohl also talked at length about Wyoming’s first big scrimmage action of spring in Casper, Saturday, at 1 p.m. The scrimmage is at Cheney Alumni Field at Natrona County High School. Bohl talked about their plans, looks forward to it, and what the coaching staff is looking for.
Coach Bohl also discussed returning All-America candidate, kicker Cooper Rothe, the offensive line, the defensive end position, and a couple of freshmen early enrollees in QB Levi Williams and wide receiver Devin Jennings.
Saturday will the ninth practice of spring. The scrimmage in Casper is the first one that is open to the public, and fully open to the media.
After this weekend, UW has six practices remaining over two weeks of spring drills. It concludes with the annual Spring Game, April 27, 2 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
