Laramie Man Charged with Theft

The Laramie Police Department is reporting that 34-year-old Adam Schneider has been charged with theft.

On December 21, 2019, a Laramie Police Officer took a report of embezzlement from a business that had occurred in the 2100 block of Grand Avenue.

As a result of the Officer’s investigation, Schneider was arrested and charged for theft. A bond has not yet been set in this matter and Schneider remains in the custody of the Albany County Detention Center.

Theft is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both if the value of the property is one thousand dollars or more.

At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
