Many times, those shorter, warm-up performances turn out to be the highlight of the night, so let's dive in and see who is opening up for the CFD Frontier Nights headliners.
Friday, July 20th: Michael Ray, opening up for Florida Georgia Line.
Michael Ray is a Country Music Singer, known for being mentored by Big & Rich on the singing competition "The Next: Fame Is At Your Doorstep." He has been a guest on the TV show Nashville. His biggest song on the radio right now is "Get to You," from his 2018 album Amos.
Saturday, July 21st: Chase Rice & Morgan Evans, opening up for Cole Swindell.
Chase Rice co-wrote the song "Cruise," by Florida Georgia Line, and is known for his song "Ready Set Roll," as well as his brief stint on Survivor: Nicaragua. Morgan Evans is an Australian Country Singer married to fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini. Currently, you might hear him on the radio with "Kiss Somebody."
Sunday, July 22nd: Tracy Lawrence, opening up for Charlie Daniels.
Tracy Lawrence has been in country music for decades, with eight number one albums on the Country Billboard Music Chart, including "Find Out Who Your Friends Are," "Can't Break It To My Heart," and "If The Good Die Young." He's also a radio star with his syndicated Country talk radio show "Honky Tonkin' with Tracy Lawrence."
Thursday, July 26th: Pop Evil, opening up for Nickleback.
Pop Evil is a rock band formed back in 2001 in Michigan. They have gone through changes in their line up due to injuries and unnamed personal reasons, but they are perhaps most known for their songs "Deal with the Devil," and "Footsteps."
Wednesday, July 25th: Cam, opening up for Eric Church.
Camaron Marvel Ochs, also known by her stage name Cam is a country singer-songwriter who started her career writing for many artists, including Miley Cyrus. With a Grammy nomination for her song "Burning House," she comes to CFD promoting her recent album "Diane."
Friday, July 27th: Ned LeDoux, opening up for Toby Keith.
A hometown Wyoming boy, Ned LeDoux's last name may be very familiar to concert and rodeo goers of Cheyenne Frontier Days alike. Ned is the son of the late famed rodeo star and country music legend, Chris LeDoux. He comes off of releasing his debut album, as well as setting a record for the most Wyoming Country Music Awards taken by a single artist, winning song of the year for his track "Some People Do."
Saturday, July 28th: Kip Moore, opening up for Dierks Bentley.
Kip Moore's debut Album, "Up All Night," was the best-selling debut album by a male in both 2012 and 2013, and his second album came on it's heels in 2015 with hits like "Hey Pretty Girl," "Something 'Bout a Truck," and "More Girls Like You."
