License Plate-Ask the City

Question:

I've seen a vehicle with a piece of paper in the back window that states they are not required to have a license plate. Is there any reason an automobile does not need a license plate on the streets of Laramie?

Answer:

"It may be legal for a vehicle to park on a city street, since an owner may operate a vehicle on a title legally for 30 days. The title may be displayed on a window. If this is the case, the vehicle may be marked as abandoned and then followed up on at least 30 days from the date of marking. The police department will check on the vehicle and determine the circumstances around it and act accordingly."
