Little Boy Battling Cancer Gets Standing Ovation at His School

A little boy's battle against cancer is now getting national attention after a video shows him returning to his school where his classmates gave him a standing ovation.

I've seen this story shared by CBS News and also ABC News. According to both reports, John Oliver Zippay is 6 years old. They report that 3 years ago he was diagnosed with leukemia.

The video shared by John's mom Megan shows his return to his elementary school where his classmates were awaiting his arrival and gave him the entrance of a conquering hero.

So much to love about this. This little boy's courage fighting a terrible disease and his friends showing him they have his back. Love it.
