Loretta Lynn – Forced to Cancel Weekend Concerts

Loretta Lynn had concerts scheduled on Saturday, January 7th at Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Ky., and another the next night at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, N.C..  However, continuing health issues have forced her to cancel both.

The cancellations were announced on her official website. 

Miss Loretta has had a serious of health issues of late.  In addition to an attack of pneumonia in October of 2011, the country legend has had recurrent troubles with her knees.

Loretta postponed shows in March 2011 due to a torn knee ligament, and underwent reconstructive knee surgery in August 2011.

The concert is tentatively re-scheduled for February 25th.

I'm sure all country fans join me in hoping for a quick recovery for the iconic country singer.  We'll be watching this story closely and will certainly keep you informed.
