Most Wyoming residents that took our poll question let us know, they will probably miss the August 21 eclipse altogether.
While tens of thousands of visitors are expected throughout the Cowboy State, most residents are choosing to not travel to one of the towns where the event will be view-able.
24% of our poll participants told us they'd be out of the eclipse path during the event and 14% simply said they'd miss it altogether. A handful of write-in voters discouragingly let us know they'd be stuck at work.
Most folks that are anticipating watching it plan to be in Casper. Jackson is also expecting tens of thousands of people. The path also crosses through Dubois, Riverton, Glenrock, Douglas, Wheatland, Glendo, and Torrington.
