According to a new study ranking the "Fattest States in America", Wyoming is in pretty good shape.

The report ranked Wyoming as the 33rd fattest state overall, below the national average for overweight and obesity rates. The Cowboy State also ranked among the best states for healthy diets, physical activity and general fitness.

Mississippi was crowned as America's fattest state, followed by West Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas and Lousiana.

Many of the fittest states in the country are in the mountain west. Colorado finished in last place on the list, with Massachussetts, Utah, Hawaii and Montana rounding out the bottom five.

The study did indicate some causes for concern in other neighboring states, however. North Dakota has the country's highest percentage of childhood obesity, followed by Kansas. South Dakota also had the fifth highest rate of obesity among children.
