Lee Ann Womack fans have a reason to get excited...Lee Ann will be back with a new album later this year!
Lee Ann Womack has signed a new recording contract with Sugar Hill Records and Welk Music Group, with a new album scheduled to be released in September. Lee Ann was previously with MCA Nashville but parted ways with them in 2012. Several labels have been in contact with her since she left.

Lee Ann worked with her producer and husband Frank Liddell—who has worked on albums released by Miranda Lambert, David Nail and Chris Knight—to put the new album together.

A native of Jacksonville, Texas, Lee Ann's career has represented the high watermark in modern country. In 2002, she won the Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration for “Mendocino County Line” with Willie Nelson. She has also received 20 Country Music Association Awards nominations, winning Album of the Year for "There’s More Where That Came From", Female Vocalist of the year and two Single and Musical Events awards.

A new single will be released this summer.

All of us on Cowboy Country are looking forward to new music from Lee Ann Womack!
