Reminder: Selling CFD Tickets Above Face Value Is Bad
Yes, yes, I know. You were one of the lucky ones to get tickets to one of the sold out shows at Cheyenne Frontier Days this year. And of course, you think that ticket is much more valuable now that the demand has skyrocketed. It's basic capitalism, right? As demand is higher and supply is limited, then the price should go up?
Well, no. Actually, it's totally illegal.
So here's the friendly reminder to all of the folks I've seen in Facebook selling groups trying to pawn off their Post Malone tickets for $300 a pop: Selling tickets above their face value is illegal. In fact, Cheyenne has it's own city ordinance against reselling of tickets above face value (probably because this happens every CFD year.)
So if your ticket says $85... that's how much you can sell it for. Don't worry though, if you're looking for tickets, because you can download our mobile app and watch for chances to win CFD tickets.
