Rocky Mountain Power Outage Sunday Night

Rocky Mountain Power in Laramie has reported 596 customers were without power Sunday night.

The outage occurred just before 10:00 p.m. and power was restored for the majority of customers at 11:19 p.m.  The outage was due to a protective device failure.  According to a Rocky Mountain Power spokesman the device failed most likely due to strong winds.

Another outage was reported Sunday night in Cody, Wyoming.
