Senator Barrasso Talks Legislation and Campaign [VIDEO]
Touting bi-partisan legislation signed into law, reasons for repealing an electric vehicle tax and the campaign trail were part of a recent interview with U.S. Senator John Barrasso.
Barrasso is seeking a second full term in the United States Senate during the 2018 election. He stopped by the “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning show last Wednesday for a visit with host David Settle.
One central focus had to do with the recent Water Infrastructure Act that President Trump signed into law. Barrasso stressed how vital this is to every community in the country. He also talked about why he recently introduced legislation to repeal the federal electric vehicle tax credit.
In addition, his candidacy for another term in Washington D.C. was a hot topic. Barrasso addressed the divisiveness that a lot of voters are talking about, to what’s been raised by his opponent, Gary Trauner, in the race for the Senate seat. Those two debated last Thursday in Casper and disagreed on everything from health care to tax cuts, and even the shape Wyoming’s economy is in.
Early and absentee voting is underway. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Tuesday, Nov. 6.
