Sometimes summer comes with a high price tag. Here's the top activity you can do for free in our state.
The next three months will arguably be the best of the year. Warm weather means lots of time spent outdoors with loved ones and friends. Many parents get super creative when it comes to entertaining kids on summer break, especially when you're on a budget. That's why free activities are a life-saver.
Country Living recently found the top activity in every single state that is free.
In Wyoming is the Oregon Trail Ruts. The history buffs will love this National Historic Landmark in Guernsey. The ruts from the wagons traveling across the country on the Oregon Trail in the mid 1800's are still visible to this day. They are six feet deep in a sandstone ridge on the south side of the North Platte River.
Hundreds of thousands of people traveled by wagon across this nation. Their iron wagon wheels created these ruts over the years. What do you think? Will you take a road trip this summer?
