Strong winds will impact much of southeast Wyoming today before a cold front moves through Wednesday, bringing widespread snow to the area.

Blowing snow will be a concern across portions of southeast Wyoming and the northern Nebraska Panhandle Wednesday, where light snow and hurricane-force winds are expected.

A gust was reported in Cheyenne that reached 89 mph, while South Pass saw gusts of 90 to 100 mph.
