Seasonal road closures are scheduled to take effect this Thursday, Feb. 1 on Pole Mountain in order to preserve road conditions and protect resources in the Medicine Bow National Forest.
Last week when Wyoming received it's annual May blizzard, we asked if residents think interstate closures are a good thing or a bad thing for Wyoming's economy.
The wind in Wyoming could be classified as a hurricane in some states and this trucker got to see how fast things can change while driving in the cowboy state.
“We distribute information about our projects in a broad and timely fashion, but can’t always control the various outlets through which people receive their news," said Romero.
The road closures would provide areas of secure habitat for deer and elk during transition periods, difficult winter months and the fawning and calving season.
