Summer is upon us and as hot as it's been already, our Wyoming wildlife have been finding all kinds of creative ways to cool off.

Motorists driving through the Montana side of Yellowstone National Park encountered a bison herd protecting the calves by shielding them from traffic.

When it comes to wildlife the size of a full grown momma bear, it's not like you can go outside and kindly tell her to move, so you just enjoy from afar.

There are some close calls and then there are some narrow escapes. This might be both, mixed in with being extremely lucky and/or blessed.

Watching animals doing human-like tasks is always fun to see. It's even better when they excel at said tasks better than their human counterparts.

It's not uncommon in Wyoming to see wildlife walking down a road and that includes elk. Two guys in a white car came upon an elk that took a severe dislike to them and their vehicle and this video is proof.

This is not an unusual sight for us that live in Wyoming. But, for one guy who was driving through the state, he was amazed at the sheep herd next to the highway that kept on going and going and going.
