A Wyoming inmate serving a life sentence for an attempted murder in Laramie County has died in custody at a hospital, according to the Department of Corrections.
A correctional officer at the prison in Torrington has been awarded the Medal of Valor for his actions during a 2019 stabbing, the WDOC announced Thursday.
Additionally, six inmates and 10 staff members at the Wyoming Medium Correctional institution in Torrington tested positive for the virus. More than 800 tests were conducted there.
