Wyoming Elk

If you're an elk hunter, you know about the ivories. If not, you're may not be sure what that means.

Elk are wild animals that can injure you if your approach them.

It's always fun to find a refuge for different animals. Back home in Kentucky, we had a bison refuge down by the lakes, near the Tennesse border. My parents have camped in that area for years, and I've always loved going to the refuge there.

This is something that is more frequent than we'd all like I think. Not so much from Wyomingites, but our tourists do love to come to our state and see how awesome our parks are.

I could not believe how close this Elk got to these hunters and I honestly have no idea how this hunter didn't get injured by this massive Elk.

For many of us, the annual Spring Migration of our massive Elk herds is the best sign that warmer weather is on its way.
