The Wyoming Supreme Court has ordered the one-year suspension of Laramie attorney Michael J. Pearce, effective Aug. 22.

Chief Justice Michael Davis will serve as the chairman of the Board of Judicial Policy and chairman of the Judicial Nominating Commission.

Wyoming Chief Justice E. James Burke signed the order on Monday.

In the opinion published by Wyoming Supreme Court, the court said there was insufficient evidence to sustain Bohling’s convictions for the crime of obtaining property by false pretenses.
