Longmire returns for a sixth and final season as of Nov. 17, on Netflix.
Based on the fictional Walt Longmire mystery novels by real-life best-selling author Craig Johnson, this crime drama set in Wyoming, but filmed in New Mexico, features Wyoming Sherriff Walter Longmire portrayed by Australian actor Robert Taylor.
Longmire was the highest rated series debut that first aired on A&E Network on June 3 of 2012. Now, it concludes with the final season currently streaming on Netflix as of Friday, Nov. 17, 2017.

This is the story from Wyoming author Craig Johnson, who according to Wikipedia “lives on a ranch he built himself in Ucross, Wyoming (population 25, near Buffalo, Wyoming).
