The Library Lives Up To It’s Name With After-Hours Book Club
The Library proclaims that you don't have to lie to your mom, you can tell her you're at the Library. Maybe not the one where you can check out books and research topics for school, but one that has a desire for literary appreciation regardless. The brewery and sports bar offers an event that truly lends itself to the name.
The After-hours book club is a reoccurring event at the Library and includes books chosen by members of the club. Sponsored by the Albany County Public Library, copies of that month's books are available at the circulation desk so you can devour them before the meeting at the Library.
Beer, wings, and book talk? What's not to love about that? In January, the book was Feather Thief by Kirk W. Johnson. The next meeting will be on February 26th, so there's still time to get the book from the Albany County Public Library and join your fellow book nerds for some brews.
