The long-running Wyoming music festival, WHAT Fest has lost its venue in Centennial and will be holding a Block Party at the Alibi in Laramie in its stead. In a facebook post from the festival, it was said that despite diligently searching for a rural location to host the two-day music festival, no solid leads had been found and other accommodations had to be made.

WHAT Fest started in the backyard of it's creator, as well as being held in the northern part of the state, holding the first few concerts in the unincorporated community of Clark, Wyoming outside of Cody. It moved to Riverside, and then Centennial, so the concert series is certainly not over and out. IT's bounced back before and it will again.

In the meantime, the bands originally scheduled to play at WHAT fest will instead be a part of a Block Party at The Alibi in Laramie from July 26-27.

"We know this isn’t the WHAT Fest that you’re used to but we assure you, it’s going to be one of the greatest parties the City of Laramie has ever seen." Promises the facebook post about the rescheduling. Tickets to the party can still be purchased at Coal Creek Tap or the Festival's Website.
