I don't know about you but I am excited for the new year in country music! This year we will hear from artists we haven't heard anything new from for a while now. This list is not complete but I have  highlighted a few things that I think you will be just as excited for.
First on the awesome list is...
  1. Cheyenne Frontier Days!! This year it seems to be loaded with major names that I know I will be making a point to see. The Frontier nights will be a blast with: Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry and Hank Williams Jr.
  2. Your "Homeboy" has extended his "Blood, Sweat, and Beers" tour and will be performing near you! Mark your calendar on May 19th,  he will be at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
  3. Faith Hill is finally going to release a new album! I don't know about you, but I am interested to see what it sounds like. I'm really enjoying her new single "Come Home".
  4. Hubby Tim McGraw is also going to release a new album, his first in three years since "Southern Voice".  Look for the "Emotional Traffic" album January 17th!
  5. Lauren Alaina will join Jason Aldean on his 2012 tour. I haven't seen much from this young "Georgia Peach" but I'm interested to see how she rev's up a crowd for Jason.
  6. Miranda Lambert will mentor for husband Blake on "The Voice".
  7. Craig Morgan will release his new album "This Ole Boy" February 28th.
  8. Brad Paisley will kick off his newly named "Virtual Reality" tour, January 12th!
  9. Katy Perry will not cross-over into country music!
  10. Taylor Swift will not release an emotionally diverse album!! But, she will release a "sad" album, yet again about a boy that broke up with her. Surprise, Surprise.

I hope you look forward to most of these events, I know I am with the exception of one or maybe just #10.
