Thanksgiving travelers will want to pay attention to the weather this holiday weekend, as it looks like southeastern Wyoming could see some accumulating snow.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne says strong winds and rain and snow showers are likely Friday into Saturday. The area could also see snow Sunday morning.

Motorists are encouraged to carry a car survival kit, make friends and family members aware of their travel plans and have alternate routes planned if roads close.

The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 511 or visiting wyoroad.info.
