Howdy. It's been my distinct pleasure to be in radio since I was just a kid. The fact that I've never really had to work for a living is a big comfort. I started in a small station in Thermopolis, WY and never looked back. I've pretty much always been enamored with small market radio. It's a profession that allows you to do nearly every single job, and hopefully excel at most of them. I'm proud to be associated with such a GREAT country station as KCGY Y95. Southeast Wyoming, Northern Colorado and Western Nebraska are truly fortunate to have such great quality Country 24/7. I'm always happy to throw the older stuff in with the top 20 selections we bring you. Thanks for listening the THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE COUNTRY. AND GO POKES!

Now That’s What I Call Country – New Ballad Collection
It took a while for me to come to grips with the whole "Now that's what I call" series. I first paid attention to it when I bought edition five or six for my tween niece way back in the day. Anyway, the series eventually got around to featuring country artists. And, since I'm in the country radio biz, I warmed up to the concept real quick.
Keith Urban – A Return Planned Next Month
It was late last year that Keith Urban underwent surgery to have a polyp removed from one of his vocal chords. The surgery took place at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He's been on vocal rest ever since. And, of course, has been unable to perform as well. That's going to change when the country star takes the stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

Paisley and Lambert – Helpin’ Out on Fogerty Album
I remember hearing Credence when I was a kid. The only "stereo" we had back in the day was in my big brother Kelly's room. He'd crank it up and I got my first taste of Proud Mary and Down on the Bayou. Well, I'm a rock and roll fan. But I'm also a country fan, and that's reason enough to be excited about this collaboration.

I really like it when I find out that a great guy is having a great year. 2012 has barely begun and it's already looking like a banner one Lee.
Country Stars Honor “Little House on the Prairie”
No. Seriously. I ran across this little gem of news from our friends at The Boot. And it's not about the television series that ran from 1974 to 1983. Nope, this is an homage to the wonderful series of books from Laura Ingalls Wilder.
