A 22-year-old Cheyenne man accused of threatening his dad with a knife and trashing his mom's cars has been bound over to Laramie County District Court.

Alejandro "Alex" Jaramillo, Jr. appeared before Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee this (Friday) morning.

Charging documents allege Jaramillo threatened to stab his dad with a 9-inch blade kitchen knife during a July 17 fight with his parents.

He's also accused of breaking the windshields on his mom's BMW and Corvette with rocks and flagstone during the early morning hours of July 18.

Jaramillo was being held on a $5,000 cash bond, but Judge Lee reduced his bond to 10 percent of $5,000 and ordered him not to have any contact with his parents.

Jaramillo is charged with aggravated assault and felony property destruction. He could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted on both counts.
