Friday night was a special time for David Nail on many levels. In addition to being at Game 7 of the World Series in St. Louis in person to see his beloved Cardinals battle against the Texas Rangers, the singer also got the chance to step foot on the field where he belted out an emotion-filled rendition of ‘God Bless America’ during the seventh-inning stretch.

As Nail sang the patriotic anthem, the fans in attendance united as one and sang the lyrics with the Grammy-nominated singer, their voices echoing throughout the sold-out stadium.

“[I was] truly honored to be asked to sing ‘God Bless America,’” Nail said on his official website. “Obviously being from Missouri and a Cardinal fan, just to be able to watch Game 7 in person [was] a once in a lifetime experience in itself.”

Next month (Nov. 15), Nail will release his sophomore album on MCA Records Nashville, titled ‘The Sound of a Million Dreams.’ The album has already produced a hit single with ‘Let it Rain,’ which is in the Top 15 on the music charts and climbing.

The singer is currently on the road with Taylor Swift on her Speak Now Tour. Click here for a complete list of dates where Nail will be performing throughout the rest of the year.
