For the first time in 5 years, the Denver Zoo is hosting the Nature Connects, Art with LEGO Bricks.

Denver Zoo is home to nearly 3,000 animals representing 450 species, including many that are vulnerable, threatened, endangered or even extinct in the wild.

Now, the zoo is also home (temporarily) to 15 of Artist Sean Kenney's LEGO life-size and larger-than-life plant, animal sculptures are now on display.

The award-winning exhibit took months to complete and is made up of nearly 1 million LEGO bricks. The exhibit includes: a snow leopard, monarch butterfly, whooping crane, coral reef, jeweled chameleon, black rhino, African lion and polar bear with her three cubs.

The zoo also announced that the exhibit is included with regular admission between July 17 and Oct. 31.
