Thanks to everyone who donated and came out to support the Dorman Family in the aftermath of the tragic events on July 6th, 2017. On Friday night August 3rd friends, family and supporters gathered at the Black Gold Grille for a fundraiser to help take care of some of the medical expenses resulting from the accident.

Attendees of the event participated in 50/50 raffles, card games, a general raffle for prizes and packages and a live auction.

From the time the doors opened, the generosity of the crowd was obvious.  Over 150 people came out to support the Dorman Family.

Brooke Lewallen (A young lady from Douglas, WY)  had been selling lemonade all summer and upon hearing of the tragic accident donated half her earnings, $147 to support the Dorman family.  Brooke's mother Audrea drove to Casper to make the presentation and upon sharing the story with the crowd, 14 people agreed to match her donation raising over $2500!!

Once the live auction started the money started pouring in and when the dust settled, the Live Auction had brought in over $43k.

In total the fundraiser helped raise $56,664 to help the Dorman Family in the aftermath of the accident.  The money raised won't bring Lilly back, but it will help take care of some of the medical expenses associated with her loss.

A huge thanks to Doug & Heather Stewart, Ron and Ellen Strang, Larry and Colleen Bowers, Ranola Miller, Michael Shebler, Ambria Lane, Dave and Charlote Lang, the staff at the Black Gold Grille and to everyone who attended and donated.  This event was definitely one that will be remembered and talked about as Casper came together to support the Dorman Family.
