Fire Ban in the Laramie Area

Prolonged dry conditions have prompted Wyoming Game and Fish officials to invoke a fire ban in all Game and Fish owned and administered lands within the Laramie Region.

Affected areas include: Red Rim Daley, Grizzly, Jelm, and Public Access areas in the Laramie Region.

The following actions are part of the ban and prohibited until further notice:

• Building and maintaining, or using, a fire, campfire charcoal grill, coal or wood burning stove
• Smoking, except within an enclosed building or vehicle, at a developed recreation site, or while stopped at an area at least 3 feet in diameter that is barren and cleared of flammable material.
