Inaugural Wyoming Country Music Awards Announce Winners

Winners have been chosen for the inaugural 2018 Wyoming Country Music Awards and announced on their website, rather than a red-carpet event that was originally planned for July 22. In the first class of winners, Wyoming Folk and Country Music artists were celebrated, with promises of more to come in this grassroots competition.

Laramie band The Libby Creek Original took the title for Americana/ Roots Artist of the Year, as well as nods to Whippoorwill, Chancey Williams, and Jason Shogren. Radio Station of the Year went to Y95 Country of Laramie and The Outlaw Saloon took the title for Venue of the Year.

In a huge showing, Ned LeDoux, son of the late Chris LeDoux, took four awards, setting the first record for most awards won by a single artist. See a full list of recipients below.
