Laramie’s Baily Isaak and Bella Pacheco will have an opportunity to receive high-level training and instruction at the USSSA Fastpitch All-American Games.

The week-long event begins Sunday, July 19, and goes through Saturday, July 25 in Viera, FL.

In a follow-up to our story earlier in the week, WyoPreps’ David Settle was able to visit with Isaak and Pacheco about what’s ahead for these two young ladies. In the video above, they spoke about the tryout in Colorado, how COVID-19 nearly took away a chance to be a part of this event, what they’re looking for to while attending, and more.

After registration, the two Laramie Lightning 14U players will go through a player evaluation period on Sunday at Space Coast Stadium.

Both players will be assigned a team and report for their first practice on Monday. That’s followed by the “Battle of the Bats” with USSSA Pride Players and then a Skills Challenge/Home Run Derby at Pride Stadium.

Tuesday and Wednesday feature pool play games, plus a chalk talk and some virtual seminars from NCSA (Next College Student Athlete).

Bracket play begins on Thursday and continues on Friday with elimination games. There’s also a 13U/14U All-Star game on Friday at Pride Stadium.

The championship games will be on Saturday. There’s also an optional USSSA Pride Instructional Clinic on Saturday afternoon.
