PhotoFest! 4A Boys State Cross Country
Star Valley has owned 4A Boys Cross Country for the last 3 years as they 3-peated as State Champions and had an individual champion for the 3rd straight year. The Braves went 1-2-3 led by Jase Burton with a blistering time of 15:46.59 edging out his teammate Habtamu Weztel who recorded a time of 16:18.38. Wetzel was looking to become the first 3-peat 4A champion since the early 1970s and Burton was 2nd at the 2023 State Meet. Star Valley's Colton Cranny was 3rd in 16:22.02 and he was 7th a year ago. Cheyenne Central's Race Morrell who finished 4th last year, finished 4th this year with Natrona's Kalel Brubaker placing 5th. He was also 5th last season.
The Braves won the 4A team title by a landslide with 42 points, Kelly Walsh was a distant 2nd with 109 and Natrona was 3rd with 111.
