
UPDATE: Tornado Watch For Laramie County Until 10 p.m.
UPDATE: 3;30 P.M. August 1, 2025: A tornado watch has been issued for areas of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle by the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service
A tornado watch has been issued for southeastern Wyoming and the central/southern Nebraska Panhandle, alongside portions of Colorado. An isolated tornado or two could be possible alongside strong thunderstorms capable of large hail and damaging wind gusts. Heavy rainfall may also produce localized flooding to flash flooding.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe storms are possible in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle again today.
The agency posted the following on it's website: "There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) of severe weather today across much of western Nebraska and southeast Wyoming. Large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, and an isolated tornado or two (mainly in the Panhandle) are all possible this afternoon. Strongest storms expected between 3 and 8 PM. Stay weather aware today!"
