SE Wyoming Expecting Hot Weather, Heavy Rainfall Possible
Southeast Wyoming can expect another hot day but with afternoon thunderstorms and heavy rain possible in some areas.
Both Laramie and Cheyenne can expect high temperatures in the low 90s.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
Storms will be possible along and east of the Laramie Range Friday afternoon. Initially, storms will form along a dryline, leading to the threat of dry lightning and strong, dry microburst winds. As storms push east, they will encounter better low-level moisture, leading to more of a heavy rain and wet microburst wind potential. There is a brief threat of severe hail with storms, however, the main concern will be severe winds.
