SE Wyoming Mountains Could Get 20 Inches Of Snow
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains in southeast Wyoming.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
''Winter Storm Warnings have been issued for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range Mountains beginning at 5pm MST today, and continuing through Friday afternoon. There will be periods of time where snow showers dissipate, and additional times where blowing snow and gusty winds will reduce visibility. Storm total snowfall accumulations above 9000 feet elevations will be where the highest snowfall occurs. For your local forecast, go to weather.gov/cys.''
