The NFL has announced the line-up of talent for this year's NFL Kickoff 2011 concert just outside Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

The cast of characters include Kid Rock, Maroon 5 and, of course, Lady Antebellum.  They'll be responsible for getting the crowd and a national audience in the mood for the Packers and Saints later in the evening.

More than 100,000 people are expected to be in and around Lambeau Field for the Sept. 8 opener, making this potentially the biggest drawing event ever staged in Green Bay.

The NFL also announced Tuesday that “32 legendary NFL alumni, one representing each team,” will be involved in a ceremony on the field prior to kickoff.

This is the 10th year in a row the NFL had had a kick-off celebration to start the season.  It's also the 8th straight time the reigning Super Bowl Champions have started the season at home on a Thursday night.

Last year, Taylor Swift represented country music at the concert in New Orleans. Swift was joined by the Dave Matthews Band and Harry Connick Jr. before the then champion New Orleans Saints went on to defeat the Minnesota Vikings 14-9. This year’s concert begins at 5:30PM MT and will be shown on NBC as well as the NFL Network.
