Laramie County Inmate Dies 4 Days After Suicide Attempt

A Laramie County jail inmate who attempted to hang himself on Dec. 10 has died, according to the Laramie County Sheriff's Office.

Undersheriff Rich Hillegas says 44-year-old Willy Gugler died last (Thursday) night at United Medical Center after being removed from life support.

Gugler was being held on a $5,000 bond for conspiracy to commit felony theft.

The incident remains under investigation by sheriff's detectives.
